| We eagerly anticipate the arrival of each short-term missions team. They are a great encouragement to the full-time missionaries and bring inspiration and energy to our ministry. They come with suitcases loaded with much-needed supplies and gifts for the children.
We have various types of short-term missions teams that bring assistance to our ministry: We have medical teams that hold clinics in remote communities that do not have access to medical care; we have construction teams that have been a big part of building the facilities that are holding our children; and we have youth and evangelistic teams that reach out into the communities surrounding us, helping to bring the Word of God to neglected areas as well as filling physical needs by passing out food and clothing donations. Our ministry would not be where it is today without the crucial help of these short-term missions teams. We welcome each and every team and invite all interested groups to be a significant part of our ministry. The children at the orphanage often remember many people by name when they return. These teams are a bright spot to us here in Nicaragua and are an enormous blessing to our ministry and to the country. Missions trips to Nicaragua are organized through Globe International.
