Children of Destiny is a non-profit organization working in Nicaragua to bring hope and a promising future to children in the rural communities of Jinotega, Nicaragua. Since 1998 we have been working with orphaned children both in the inner city and the remote mountains in Nicaragua. Sandy Carter-Britnell originally built and ran the Children of Destiny orphanage in Jinotega for over 22 years. She has since transitioned the orphanage to a much larger ministry by opening a vocation trade school called the “Community Center Globe, Jinotega”. This school reaches out to all of the children in the surrounding communities of Jinotega. Sandy runs this ministry along side of a full-time Nicaraguan staff that are assisted by our U.S. Leadership Team.
